Non-Destructive Testing (MPI and LPI)
We offer industry-leading, unsurpassed non-destructive testing (NDT) services to ensure the safety and reliability of your equipment. We use state-of-the-art liquid penetrant and magnetic particle inspections to expose cracks and defects the naked eye cannot see. Our experts are certified in both LPI (liquid penetrant) for all aluminum components, and MPI (magnetic particle inspection) for all steel components. At Pro Aero we will NDT all engine parts in overhauls and prop strikes to ensure the safety and reliability of your engine and passengers. In addition, our fully equipped shop can also NDT automotive and marine components.
‘On-Wing‘
At Pro Aero our certified AME’s and technicians have years of experience in the general aviation field and can provide you with ‘On-Wing’ services on your aircraft. These services include engine removal and installation; diagnosing running issues; fuel system setup; and basic maintenance including oil changes and inspections. We can also remove individual components, such as magnetos and cylinders, to perform in-house repairs and get you back up and flying faster. Ultrasonic testing
We have experts in-house ready to check your CMI crankshaft for mandatory ultrasonic inspections on all six cylinder Continental engines. This is all part of our standard procedures for our engine repairs and overhauls, ensuring the best quality and safety for you and your aircraft. Our technicians are factory trained and certified with recurrent training to be able to better provide you with a faster turn around time and quality work for your TCM engine. .
At Pro Aero we make sure all your engine parts are within manufacturers specifications, both dimensionally and within wear limits. We will send you photos of the parts we need to change with a full report and breakdown of any costs.
